This Blancpain X Swatch watch honors Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, the first true diver’s watch. Its green case and crown are made of Bioceramic material. The word “Swatch” is inscribed on the outer left side of the case. It has a black dial with a dark green hue and features a water contact indicator at 6 o'clock. The hour indexes, hour, and minute hands, the tip of the seconds hand as well as the scale on the bezel, are enriched with Grade A vintage Super-LumiNova® for outstanding legibility in the dark. The watch features a green unidirectional Bioceramic bezel and biosourced glass. The SISTEM51 mechanical movement is visible through a transparent sapphire glass caseback and features a digital print of the ocean floor and the Felimare picta nudibranch in digital print. Five inspirational inscriptions can be found on the back of the watch: PASSION FOR DIVING – LICENCE TO EXPLORE – OCEAN BREATH – PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE and IMMERSE YOURSELF. The two-piece NATO-style strap is made from recycled fishing nets and provides full visibility of the movement. The pin buckle and loops are made of Bioceramic material.
